Simon is a Managing Director in the OMERS Infrastructure Sydney office. He joined OMERS in May 2017, and is responsible for a range of infrastructure investment origination and asset management activities in Australia. Simon currently serves on TransGrid’s Board of Directors, and previously served on the Port of Melbourne’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining OMERS, Simon spent 11 years in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, advising corporate, institutional and government clients on M&A transactions, privatizations, financing and capital markets activities in the infrastructure, transport, energy and utilities sectors. He previously held roles with the New South Wales Treasury and ABN AMRO Corporate Finance.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) and a Master of Legal Studies, both from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
