Verena is currently an Associate Director with OMERS Infrastructure, having joined in January 2020. She is involved in the origination, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities across the Americas. Since joining the team, Verena’s ongoing asset management responsibilities have included GNL Quintero and Chicago Skyway.

Prior to joining OMERS Infrastructure, Verena was part of Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure team and Green Investment Group in New York, where she worked in both an investment banking and principal investing capacity with a focus on the power, utilities, renewables and environmental services sectors, primarily in North and South America. Prior to that, Verena worked as an investment banking analyst at INTL FCStone Securities.

Verena holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the University of Nottingham, and an Executive Master’s degree in Finance from INSEAD.
