Biography

Matt joined OMERS Infrastructure in Toronto in 2013. In the first half of 2018, Matt transferred to the London office to cover the European Infrastructure market and returned to Toronto in the second half of 2020.

Throughout his tenure with OMERS Infrastructure, Matt has focused on the energy, utility and transportation sectors. He has been involved in acquisition origination and execution and asset management across numerous investments, including Bruce Power, Chicago Skyway, Lifelabs, Navisun, Puget Sound Energy, and Teranet. Matt is currently a Director of Alectra and has previously served as a Director on the Boards of Caruna, Confederation Bridge, Exolum (CLH), GNL Quintero, NextBridge and a portfolio of Ontario hospital P3s.

Before joining OMERS Infrastructure, Matt was a Vice President at Macquarie Capital Markets, where he primarily focused on the power and utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

Matt has an HBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, and a Masters of Finance degree from INSEAD.
