Luca Lupo

Luca was appointed Senior Managing Director, Head of Europe, in March 2026. Based in London, Luca sits on the Infrastructure Management Committee and is responsible for all regional asset class investment activities.

Luca leads the regional infrastructure team and oversees our European portfolio of assets, which currently spans seven markets.

Luca joined OMERS in November 2022, as a Managing Director, to lead investment efforts in transportation and community infrastructure. He has been an integral member of the leadership and has made meaningful contributions across the regional portfolio, including leading OMERS investment in Grandi Stazioni Retail in 2024 which marked OMERS entry into Italy. He has also played a key role in our capital rotation and asset management programs. He currently serves on the boards of Grandi Stazioni Retail and Associated British Ports.

Prior to OMERS, Luca was a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley in the Transportation & Infrastructure team in the Investment Banking department. During his career at Morgan Stanley and in his previous roles at Barclays and UBS, Luca advised on over 30 completed transactions in multiple sectors across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Luca holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where he has also been a lecturer of Corporate Finance.
