Karen is an Associate Director, Sustainable Investing & Asset Management Reporting, for the European team. Karen has played an important role in developing and implementing our asset management reporting processes, supporting both regional and global teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. In recent years, Karen has grown her expertise in ESG and is now a key resource in this area, both in Europe and globally. Karen joined OMERS in October 2012.

Karen began her career as an Intern at BHP Billiton's Cerro Matoso, and then served as a Commercial Analyst for Grupo Sura (both in Colombia), before moving to the U.K. to complete her MBA. After graduation, she was part of the research department of a small financial boutique.

Karen holds a degree in engineering from Universidad EAFIT (Medellin – Colombia) and an MBA from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
