Kaining Zhao

Kaining is an Associate with OMERS Infrastructure in Sydney, where he is involved in the origination, evaluation, and execution of new investments in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the management of portfolio companies.

Prior to joining OMERS, Kaining worked at Goldman Sachs within its Natural Resources coverage team, advising clients on M&A transactions across infrastructure, energy, and resources sectors. Before that, Kaining was part of the Infrastructure and Energy Group at Macquarie Capital, working on PPP transactions as well as principal investment opportunities.

Kaining holds a Bachelor of Finance (First Class Honours) from the Australian National University. Kaining is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
