Biography

Jordan joined OMERS infrastructure in January 2022. In this role he leads the strategy team in advancing the global Infrastructure agenda. This includes furthering the 2025 strategy, deepening insights on global thematic investment areas, and supporting the global team and portfolio in positioning OMERS Infrastructure as a leader in the industry.

Before this, he built and led the innovation team at OMERS. The team is responsible for identifying, exploring and validating new value creation opportunities for the OMERS platform, bridging investments, pensions and partnerships. This includes leading a full spectrum of innovation and strategy activities, from digital user experience, to a 30-year view on the future of aging, and creating competitive intelligence for investment teams, to advising the board and executive team on globally significant trends and scenarios.

Prior to this role, spent five years at Oxford Properties Group (OMERS real estate investment business), where he advised on global strategy, communication, and innovation initiatives. He began he career as a consultant in Deloitte’s human capital practice.

Jordan has an M.A. from the University of Southern California, an M.Des. in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University. He is currently working towards a Ph.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Institute of Design, investigating the role of strategic foresight in infrastructure investment asset management.
