Gisele Everett is a Senior Managing Director and Head of OMERS Infrastructure Americas, a platform managing C$15 billion in AUM for OMERS and third parties through a 33-person team based in New York and Toronto.
Since joining OMERS in 2019 and taking leadership of the Americas region in February 2021, Gisele has been instrumental in shaping OMERS Infrastructure Americas’ strategy, portfolio construction, portfolio company value creation, team formation, and talent development. Under her leadership, OMERS Infrastructure Americas completed new acquisitions, company sales, and syndications totaling C$4.4 billion in equity value over the past two years, including acquisitions of stakes in Direct Chassis Link Inc. (logistics, US), Navisun (distributed renewable generation, US), and Beanfield Metronet (fiber, Canada), while substantially exceeding return targets.
Prior to joining OMERS, Gisele spent over 20 years on the buy-side, primarily on the transactions side with roles at CVC International (private equity), Citi Sustainable Development Investments (growth equity), and Deutsche Asset Management (growth equity, where she also led the platform). Gisele also spent three years on the portfolio operations side at Anchorage Capital and held Board Director positions in over 15 companies covering multiple geographies and sectors.
Gisele has a BBA (finance major) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Brazil and an MBA (finance major) from Cornell University. She speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
