Akunne is an Associate Director at OMERS Infrastructure in London, and is responsible for the origination, execution, and management of infrastructure investments in Europe. She is currently part of the asset management team for OMERS Infrastructure’s investment in London City Airport. She joined the team in September 2023.

Prior to joining OMERS, Akunne was an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where she advised clients on M&A and capital market transactions across the Infrastructure and Energy Transition sectors in EMEA and Australia. She was previously an Investment Associate in OTPP’s venture and growth equity team.

Akunne holds a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from Columbia University.
