OMERS announced today the closing of its previously announced investment in Skyway Concession Company LLC (“SCC”). OMERS made the investment in a consortium of aligned, long-term institutional investors.
SCC manages, operates and maintains the Chicago Skyway toll road ("Skyway"), under a concession agreement which runs until 2104. Skyway is a 7.8 mile (12.5 kilometre) toll road that forms a critical link between downtown Chicago and its south-eastern suburbs.
