June 25, 2025 – OMERS Infrastructure today announced that Jenine Krause has been appointed to the role of Senior Managing Director, Portfolio Management and Operations, effective 1 July. In this role, Jenine will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the OMERS Infrastructure global operating strategy.

Jenine will report to Michael Hill, the Global Head of Infrastructure, and will join the Infrastructure Management Committee and Infrastructure Investment Committee. Jenine will continue to be based in Toronto. Jenine succeeds Reena Carter, who was recently appointed CFO at HOOPP, after over 20 years at OMERS.

Jenine joined OMERS Infrastructure as an Asset Management Managing Director in September 2022, having previously been CEO at Enercare Inc, and after spending 11 years in senior roles at Bell Canada. During her tenure at OMERS, Jenine has made significant contributions as a board member across key assets, including Puget Sound Energy, Beanfield and Teranet. She has overseen the implementation of key strategic initiatives across a variety of investments and strengthened value creation frameworks across the platform leading the global Asset Management Committee.

Biography of Jenine Krause

Jenine joined OMERS in September 2022 as an Asset Management Managing Director, based in Toronto.

Prior to OMERS, Jenine was CEO of Enercare Inc, one of North America’s largest home and commercial service and energy solutions companies. In her role as CEO, Jenine transitioned the organization from a publicly traded company to a privately held portfolio company owned by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.

Prior to Enercare Inc, Jenine held progressively senior roles at Bell Canada across numerous business units including residential services, business services and field operations. During her 11 years at Bell, she led a $1 billion fibre network deployment and the field roll out of Internet TV.

Jenine has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
