Mikhail (“Misha”) Nahorny

In his role as a Director, Misha is responsible for the origination of investments in German-speaking Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors. Since joining OMERS in September 2011, he has been a member of the Infrastructure investment team, playing a key role in investment origination, acquisition and asset management of NET4GAS and Tank & Rast, amongst other investments. Misha represents OMERS Infrastructure on the boards of NET4GAS and Tank & Rast. He has transaction and advisory experience on infrastructure investments as diverse as regulated utilities, renewables, power generation, and oil and gas exploration, production, refining, and transportation.
 
Prior to joining OMERS Infrastructure, Misha was a Vice President with RBC’s utilities and renewables team, where he spent three years advising clients on M&A and structured finance transactions. Before that, he worked in the oil and gas advisory team at Citi in London, as well as at Royal Dutch Shell in London and Hamburg.
 
Misha holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the American University in Bulgaria, and has completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
